With just a couple of modifications from the standard style, our tested and approved vinyl fence can withstand high-velocity hurricane-strength winds. Our HVHZ fence is in compliance with Section 1616.2.1 of the Florida Building Code 2014 and has been recorded and documented in ATI (Intertek) Test Report 67645.01-119-18.
- 1616.2.1 Fences: Fences not exceeding 6 feet (1829 mm) in height from grade may be designed for 75 mph(33 m/s) fastest mile wind speed or 115 mph (40 m/s) 3-second gust.
- Heights that passed high wind testing: 6' , 7', & 8' tall. Center to center section measurements vary.
